Reporting to: Vice President, Marketing

Downtown Denver-based luxury vacation company is expanding our business into all aspects of luxury travel, including hotels, air travel, cruises, tours and group travel. We are seeking an experienced leader who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Inspirato Travel Services (ITS) including the support and training for 120 travel advisors. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of leading a luxury travel agency and building curriculum to provide training and continuing education. The overall goal of this role is to build the necessary systems, internal processes and team development to achieve annual sales and engagement with our members. The candidate will participate heavily in company ITS strategy and provide day-to-day support for team members. 

Responsibilities:  

• Develop SOPs for ITS booking journey – from initial inquiry to commission payment. 
• Build internal training syllabus and supporting documents. 
• Partner with talent development to lead training on: how to position, sell and manage hotel stays; programs/packages; custom-made itineraries; flights and other services. 
• Ensure all booking details are complete and accurate in accordance with department guidelines. 
• Assist with all travel issues to ensure member satisfaction. 
• Partner with internal teams (operations, tech, care, talent development) to continually improve the member and teammate experience. 
• Coordinate with marketing for promotions, specials and announcements. 
• Assist supply team in negotiating new vendor agreements and managing existing relationships that improve the member offering and value.

• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings/nights and weekends. 

Qualifications: Candidate must meet the following qualifications: 

• 5+ years of travel agency management experience 
• Emphasis in luxury travel with impeccable knowledge and solid industry network 
• Expert knowledge of travel agency accreditation and licensing (IATA, ATOL) 
• Strong proficiency in Sabre GDS 
• Role will be based in Denver, Colorado
