WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU

The Senior Support Specialist will be the front-line for resolving a wide range of technological issues for our team members across departments. An IT generalist with a strong background in cloud-based systems administration and customer service will be key to success in this role. Someone who will be trustworthy, self-motivated and knows how to get things done.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Assist with the on-boarding of new employees; this position is critical in welcoming new employees, answering their questions, and ensuring that all technical components are configured properly.
  • As part of the IT team you’ll be working to make sure all necessary computer hardware is configured in accordance with the specifications required from each of Maxwell’s clients and deployed by critical deadlines.
  • Working closely with the IT team, you’ll be responsible for making sure that all team-member tickets are answered promptly and thoroughly. We strive for first-call resolution, attention to detail, and top-tier response times.
  • You will be working closely with the Google Workspace family of applications for email, cloud-based file storage, and calendar management. Strong background in Google Workspace administration will be key.
  • Maxwell utilizes a powerful and diverse set of web-based tools, and over time you will become familiar with most of them, allowing you to provide support and vendor management for our team members. The position will likely also call for administration of many of these tools.
  • You will be attending meetings regularly to sharpen your skills and meet with the key players in other departments. It will be part of your focus at Maxwell to identify and suggest creative solutions to ongoing issues in an effort to maximize efficiency.
