IT Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst

The Opportunity

The IT Business Intelligence (BI) Data Analyst will be part of the BI/Data team at Marketo. This role requires the ability to design, build and improve dashboards. Data analytics and problem-solving skills is a strong plus. This role delivers dashboards and helps drive adoption with the Business. This role also helps train and scale out Dashboards by developing dashboard authors in the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the business developing BRDs and turning them into dashboards
• Works with the BI/Data team to establish best practices and UI experiences
• Trains business users on developing their own dashboards
• Develops data models that that are required for new dashboards

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to summarize and present findings or challenges to all levels of staff and management
• Proven skills working across functional areas
• Ability to work on multiple initiatives concurrently

Technical Skills

• Expertise with Tableau Designer
• General administrative knowledge with Salesforce.com
• Knowledge with Alteryx, SQL, Excel, REST API, AWS and Google Cloud is a plus

Education Requirements

• BS/BA or equivalent experience

• 3 Years overall IT experience
• 1 Year of related experience with Business Intelligence (BI)
