Senior Director of Operations

That every interaction with a customer should have them so blown away they want to tell the world that they would never shop anywhere else. At the core of it all, you want to help create a concierge experience from end to end to turn shoppers into lifetime advocates for the brand.
About You
- You’ve had previous experience overseeing logistics, operations and customer service teams.
- You have a proven track record of improving operational efficiencies and manufacturing defects for a scaling company.
- You’ve worked hands-on with product and engineering teams to implement new technology.
- systems to manage inventory, improve logistics, decrease customer inquiry response and solution times.
- You’ve run RFP processes and led large scale renegotiations to successfully reduce costs with partners.
- You are familiar with bin, lean and other manufacturing systems and have implemented them successfully with external partners.
- You’ve taken a company from vision through implementation to increase customer transparency into order status for a retail company.
- You’ve overhauled a companies logistics to improve shipping efficiencies and reduce time to home.
Success Metrics for this Role
- Reduce product defects to 1% by end of 2020.
- Improve production and customer service to a place where we can implement 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.
- Implement accurate order status information for 100% of ordered items so customers can see where their product is at any time.
- Solve the customer experience problem of high shipping costs.
- Establish manufacturing redundancy across product lines and ensure we are working with the best partners for shipping optimization.
- Reduce cogs by 5%+
- Establish a game plan for how to ensure we can scale our production to keep up with 40%+ growth rates.
- Establish new operational efficiencies to deliver as good or better CX experience without scaling headcount substantially.
- Establish 24/7 customer service and implement new channels of contact for customers.
- Cut first response time and total resolution time in ½.
- Reduce manufacturing times and improve efficiencies to gain 1-2 days in cutoff for holiday deadlines.
- Establish better long term supply chains for inventory needs.
