Summary: We are seeking an experienced Collector who takes pride in maintaining exceptional performance for their portfolio of accounts. Experience in late stage collections, with a superior ability to negotiate with borrowers to establish repayment plans with the goal of helping our customers avoid default while bringing the account current.  Must be able to maintain productivity standards and meet and exceed goals and targets.

Shift: 9:30am-6:00pm
 

As a Senior Collections Specialist, you will:

• Review status of delinquent accounts and initiate the appropriate action plan to prevent the account from defaulting
• Contacting customers regarding the delinquent status of their loan 
  • Establish an acceptable repayment plan to bring the account current
  • Negotiate and process ACH payments
  • General Skip tracing (e.g., phone and address searches)
  • Maintain daily KPI standards (e.g., Calls Per Hour, RPC’s, Conversation Rates, After Call Work and, etc.)  
  • General correspondence (e.g., email, voice mails, etc.) 
• Participate in weekly/monthly meetings to report statuses on your assigned portfolio of delinquent accounts

Qualifications

• Excellent Customer Service/Satisfaction skills
• Have a full understanding of FDCPA 
• 5+ years of experience in collections
• Late stage collection experience (e.g., 60-90+)
• Call Center or banking experience is a plus
• Experience with high-balance collections a plus
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and interact directly with a wide variety of stakeholders
• Thrives in a strong culture of open communication, teamwork, drive to make things better, getting things done, and brings their passion to work

The role is a full-time position, with a flexible schedule that will include two Saturdays per month (4 hour shifts on Saturday).  This will allow flexibility for summer hours and continuing education.
