Senior Analyst, Global IT SOX
Job Description:
The Senior Analyst, Global IT SOX will have a thorough understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley and extensive IT General Control and IT Application Control experience across a variety of applications and infrastructures. This role requires the ability to effectively and efficiently execute high quality testing and delegate tasks to team members. The Senior Analyst will have experience in risk assessment, scoping, execution, concluding, reporting, issue management, and process improvement related to IT SOX. The ideal candidate will have experience leading high performing teams and managing multiple high priority work streams. Additionally, the Senior Analyst will have experience in the identification and implementation of innovative solutions to automate and streamline audit related tasks.
What You'll Be Doing
• Participate in the planning, scoping, risk assessment, execution, documentation, and concluding of all IT General Control and IT Application Control testing related to IT SOX
• Prepare clear and concise testing documentation in accordance with team methodologies and ensure the work performed supports conclusions drawn
• Delegate tasks to team members and perform a detailed quality review of team member work
• Coordinate with external auditors and internal SOX group
• Provide guidance to IT and business stakeholders
• Identify mitigating controls and procedures to effectively mitigate deficiencies
• Assist with control remediation following identification of issues
• Monitor progress of and develop junior team members
• Reduce redundant testing, anticipate future team needs, and continue the adoption of newer audit techniques to streamline the process
What You'll Need
• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or Information Technology (degree in Accounting or Finance will be considered with IT SOX professional experience)
• Four+ years of IT SOX experience
• Experience with Big 4 firm highly preferred
• CISA certification preferred
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong understanding of IT SOX requirements
• Ability to operate when requirements are not clear and to identify solutions to problems
• Detail oriented but able to understand the big picture
