Security Manager - Insider Risk
U.S. REMOTE / FULL-TIME
The Security Manager - Insider Risk will be a lead for Zoom's Insider Risk Mitigation Program (IRMP) focused on maintaining the cadence and impact of ongoing programmatic lines of effort and designing proactive initiatives that support both the IRMP and Zoom.
The role requires a strong program manager with a background and understanding of security, insider risk, counterintelligence, and global threats (e.g., criminal organizations, competitive intelligence specialists, nation states) and the ability to navigate across diverse cultural and political environments. Skills, education, training, and experience working with technical and cyber teams is preferred.
The Security Manager - Insider Risk must also have exemplary interpersonal skills. You must be able to proactively build relationships across Zoom and establish trust and rapport with executives, stakeholders, and the broader employee base. Ultimately, the position requires personifying Zoom's value of care while designing proactive security support for all employees.
Responsibilities:

  • As a member of a small and global team of investigators, serve as both a representative and project manager within the Insider Risk Mitigation Program supporting the entire employee lifecycle from recruiting and onboarding to training, outreach, and off-boarding.
  • Work proactively and collaboratively with numerous diverse stakeholders to design, build, and deliver programmatic initiatives.
  • Review, collate, and analyze disparate datasets across both technical and non-technical teams in order to identify and evaluate risk.
  • Propose effective mitigation strategies, process and policy updates driving global change.
  • Serve as the program manager supporting globally dispersed subject matter experts in the areas of insider risk, risk management, and insider investigations.


Requirements:

  • 8+ years of direct experience in program management or operational development; preferably with a combination of private, government, counterintelligence, and law enforcement.
  • Professional business acumen with strong communication skills including the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, diverse nationalities, and backgrounds.
  • Ability to build partnerships and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Expertise or education in behavioral risk management, psychology, legal, and related frameworks.
  • Passion to work in a collaborative team environment with an attitude to deliver happiness.
  • Ability to remain respectful and diplomatic in the face of difficult and uncomfortable situations.
  • Sense of humor, excellent interpersonal skills, business judgment, strategic thinking, superior work ethic, flexibility and the ability to work independently.
