About the Team
The Product Support Representative position will be located at our Jacksonville, FL office.

What you will be doing
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides in-depth product support to FIS clients by resolving incoming inquiries.
  • Responds to customer product inquiries via telephone or in written internet-based email or chat sessions.
  • Opportunity to work with 200+ FIS Clients globally
  • Troubleshoots problems with malfunctioning Web-based or desktop-based software applications and recommends corrective action.
  • Troubleshoots problems with malfunctioning software applications and recommends corrective action.
  • Documents customer information and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and product development.
  • Recreates client issues in test environment, Identifies/documents how applications and systems interact to support business processes.
  • Resolves client concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or product application or compatibility matters.
  • Interpersonal skills and technical product knowledge and expertise are critical to responding to daily Client-centric activities.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.
  • Escalate to Development Teams and manage feedback to clients. Track issues to resolution.


What you bring
EDUCATION

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance or related field

EXPERIENCE

  • 1-3 yrs. experience (new college grads with educational coursework experience) also considered.
  • Client Support/Product Support experience
  • Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written (client-facing role)
  • Self-starter with proven ability to work both independently, and part of a technical team.
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task
  • Logical thinking, deductive reasoning required.
  • Tech Savvy - extremely comfortable working with MS Office, text editors, RDP, FTP, Putty, Citrix, etc.

Experience that is a plus-

  • Knowledge of the Derivatives industry- preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL - Will run SQL queries and mine production Oracle data to analyze issues, preferred
  • Strong understanding of Reconciliations and how they work
