Overview

The Salesforce Administrator works with the Business Intelligence team to support the Business Intelligence function, including ERP implementation and maintenance, Salesforce.com maintenance, data warehousing, dashboards, and reports. The Salesforce Administrator interacts directly with Accounting, Operations and other functions who utilize BI. This role requires technical aptitude, time and process management skills, analytical skills, attention to detail and teamwork.

 

The compensation package will be aligned to each candidate’s experience and qualifications. All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Generate reports and dashboards that provide information for managers to make business decisions
  • Maintain data warehouses and ensure their accuracy
  • Provide end-user support for Salesforce.com issues including system configuration and system maintenance.
  • Maintain and enhance Salesforce custom objects, page layouts, workflows, alerts, reports and complex dashboards within Salesforce
  • Maintain User Profiles, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules and Security
  • Import and Export Data
  • Keep current with Salesforce.com features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements
  • Support special projects as assigned. This includes service contract maintenance and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Support individual business units, including Executives, in dashboard and report creation
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • 1-3 years of experience with operational support using Salesforce.com
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Strong problem solving and analysis skills
  • Ability to multi-task various projects and balance priorities
  • A strategic thinker with superb attention to detail
  • Proactive desire to learn with intellectual curiosity and research capabilities
  • A can-do attitude and a great team player

                                                                                 

Desired Skills:

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, marketing operations, and/or financial administration
  • Salesforce.com certification a plus

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • IT certifications and/or master’s level degree preferred
