Prologis is looking to recruit an RPA Developer to work within the Accounting team. As our accounting team is working out of two global locations, you can be based in either Amsterdam (The Netherlands) or Denver, (CO, USA). As part of the RPA Center of Excellence (CoE) you will be responsible for designing and developing RPA (Robotics Process Automation) solutions according to the Prologis framework. Within a team of 3 dedicated RPA resources, you will work with the Global RPA Lead to source, define and implement new processes using Uipath RPA software. Your main focus will be on development, however, as a member of the CoE you will also be supporting, coaching and mentoring colleagues from across the globe who are working on RPA projects from a functional perspective. You will perform code reviews, monitor robot performance and improve and ensure Prologis RPA best practices and standards. You will be involved in business process review, mapping, and optimization.

Your general tasks & responsibilities

  • Deliver RPA Implementations
    • Participate in Process Discovery sessions
    • Perform BPM process analysis
    • Work with Senior Solution Architect on solution design
    • Develop, test and implement using Uipath RPA software
    • Provide post-production support for end-users
       
  • Monitor Robot performance
    • Work on maintaining and improving Global RPA IT infrastructure
    • Manage Orchestrator platform, monitor Global robot performance and resolve errors
    • Provide both technical and functional assistance to local end-users
       
  • Act as the global subject matter expert and business partner
    • Share process knowledge and deliver impactful input to projects and other initiatives
    • Obtain a thorough understanding of the operational processes and general IT functions
    • Identify and recommend solutions with new technology or alternative uses of existing technology
    • Act as internal consultant to the business understanding technical, compliance and security risks
    • Provide training and coaching to aspiring RPA developers
    • Partner with RPA developers from around the globe to develop and co-create solutions
    • Stay abreast of new developments in the realm of RPA and other innovative technologies, ensuring new best practices are adopted and spread within our RPA framework
    • Help to enforce and improve our coding standards, policies, and procedures
    • Partner with business teams to champion the impact of process optimization and automation and identify new project opportunities

 

Your qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance or Business
  • IT experience and understanding of programming concepts
  • Programming experience in specific coding language(s) like .NET
  • Experience with RPA software (Uipath preferably)
  • Knowledge of financial systems (preferably PeopleSoft and Yardi)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Some experience in project and change management
  • Thorough and detail-oriented, strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strong work ethic and a positive can-do attitude
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
  • Customer service focus across all functional areas with the ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Solid writing skills, and superb spoken communications skills in English
