Overview

This position works closely with the Project Managers, Technical Support and FWi vendors to oversee the day to day hardware support requirements.   This is a logistics position that requires both organizational skills as well as attention to detail.  All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Processes all inbound returns & return authorizations in a timely manner
  • Schedules, submits and initiates supplier returns in accordance with standard procedures
  • Maintains database updates and documentation files and archives
  • Prepares documents, logs, and correspondence to process incoming products
  • Ensure product stored/put away/picked/shipped accurately and in a manner that will not damage the items
  •  Inspect all returned merchandise to provide accurate and timely decisions on the proper disposition of goods.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guideline to perform the functions of the job
  • Create shipping labels/waybills for hardware to be picked up from client and returned
  • Maintain warranty information on hardware sold for projects. 
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of the warehouse environment and work place safety
  • Respond to Internal requests on hardware support related questions
  • Manage Hardware warranties and assign details within Salesforce
  • Manage shipping and freight quotes
  • File Freight Claims with freight company when necessary
  • Ensure the proper staging and loading within outbound trailers as per shipping best practices
  • Ensure that product is received safely per proper receiving procedure, unloading to pallets, stacking, height, arrows up, carton assortment multiple carton per SKU and serialized units
  • Have basic computer knowledge on testing and imaging Windows platforms
  • Comply with individual, team and departmental productivity and performance goals
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Cross train Purchasing Tier 1

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma required
  • Understanding of Windows operating system
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent military/work experience a plus, but not required

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to understand shipping and receiving procedures.
  • Knowledge of inventory control and picking processes.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Exhibit an attitude oriented towards customer service .
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Skills Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of hardware vendor returns program a plus.
  • Familiarity with hardware a plus.
