The Role:

The Administrative Operations team at Personal Capital seeks a Receptionist to provide a wide range of support for our growing company. The ideal candidate adapts well to fast-paced environments, is a problem solver, and possesses the ability to provide a high degree of customer service and responsiveness. This position is part time, Monday-Friday (7:30 am – 11:30 am) in Denver, Colorado.

 

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide exceptional service and support to staff and visitors
  • Maintain the appearance and organization of the reception areas, conference rooms, kitchen, and other common spaces daily
  • Manage the receiving, stocking, distribution, and maintenance of kitchen and office supplies daily
  • General reception activities such as receiving phone calls and greeting and directing visitors, guests and visiting employees
  • Assist with coordinating catering and other office activities 
  • General office support and duties such as scheduling, filing, mailing, shipping and delivery, faxing and scanning
  • Act as liaison with building management
  • Assist in resolving problems that may be complex in nature where judgement and initiative are required

 

Desired skills and experience:

  • 0-2 years’ experience in a similar role 
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient with technology (Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, NetSuite)
  • Demonstrate common sense and sound decision making abilities 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Able to multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
  • A self-starter eager to exceed objectives and take on more responsibility
  • A troubleshooter able to solve problems professionally, quickly, and efficiently
  • Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds
