Job Duties and Responsibilities
This position executes and manages business performance improvement and business capability improvement projects across DISH and the global vendor base to enable the success of DISH Wireless. A successful candidate for this position will be results-oriented with a basic understanding of quality management, transformation, process improvement and/or program management. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast paced, ambiguous environment.
This is not a Testing position
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior management to execute and provide feedback on the Quality and Transformation strategy, governance, standards, communication and training
- Assess organizations, processes, products, and services performance/capabilities to identify improvement opportunities
- Execute performance improvement projects through definition, measurement, analysis, improvement, and control to address opportunities
- Execute capability improvement projects through discovery, Proof of Concept, automation and governance to address opportunities
- Track the definition, deployment, and institutionalization of improvement projects
- Lead internal and vendor organization Quality Reviews, tracking the status of opportunities and improvements
- Develop, measure, analyze KPIs and metrics to drive improvement
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Specific qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university, and 2+ years of related experience
- Understanding and certifications in quality management, process improvement and/or program management, including risk management, tools and techniques
- Understanding of software development lifecycles, particularly Agile, Lean, DevOps
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present to executive leadership
- Experience in Quality Management Systems a plus
- Experience in statistical analysis a plus
- Experience in AI/ML, process mining a plus
- Experience in a software intensive organization a plus
- Experience using data to drive improvements.
- A data driven improvement mindset
- A keen eye for detail and a results driven approach
- Great team player with strong interpersonal skills
Salary Range
Compensation: $57,400.00/Year - $82,000.00/Year
