about the pro - services program manager role:

soona is looking for a leader to manage and grow our pro services customer offerings. this role has a broad range of responsibilities from partner and staff management to P&L and quality control. we are looking for someone who loves working with partners to bring a next level of magic to our client experience and can also oversee and recruit our freelance pros and help them navigate soona from hiring to shoot to payment.

the soona program manager for pro services (models & stylists) must fully understand revenue, margin and P&L, have a passion for problem-solving, love working with many different people, be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and have general knowledge of photo/video editing. they must also have excellent communication skills, an unwavering attention to detail and an inherent ability to effectively prioritize priorities cross-departmentally. this role will be measured on their ability to effectively scale this function - helping us grow from 300 providers today to over 1,000 next year while maintaining margin and improving efficiency of the program.

this is a full-time position located in our Denver or Minneapolis office or remote but must be able to work business hours central or mountain time due to the location of our studios. the role will report to our Director of Operations and will have 2 direct reports.

Requirements

an ideal candidate can:

• grow, scale and efficiently manage a freelance network of pro services providers (models, stylists, etc.)
• manage, track and analyze pro services revenue, costs and margin
• collaborate with marketing team to promote the soona collective
• maintain and scale back office software to manager collective talent
• create new products offerings within pro services
• strategically work to increase customer satisfaction with pro services while improving the business bottom line
• recruit and maintain a network of high-quality, effective and reliable freelance talent for all soona studio locations
• ensure the pro services program will meet client needs as we scale
• oversee all compliance and legal requirements for our pro service freelancers from hiring and documentation to payment and workflows
• maintain accurate and up-to-date information internally and externally regarding pro services and our providers
• oversee and continue to improve pro service freelancer onboarding
• work across departments to improve the pro services program and both client and service provider satisfaction
• work with production scheduler to assist in scheduling as needed
• manage pro services coordinator

has experience in:

• 5+ years management and/or business experience in relevant field(s) be it business product or program management, as well as producing, project management or other
• 2+ years experience working with or overseeing many freelancers
• collaborating across national teams
• collaborating across national teams including managing and assigning tasks across teams and timezones
• developing successful and efficient workflows and templates that can be consistently executed
• self starter with strong organizational skills/detail orientation, ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, value driven environment
