The Enterprise Solutions Business Systems Operations Lead is a member of a highly-motivated group responsible for the technical and system administration of the PeopleSoft environment.  The role will proactively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders and IT team members to continuously improve system usage and performance.  Individuals in this position will have a deep expertise in the system administration and operations for the PeopleSoft environments. The individual will ideally have team lead/managerial experience. A focus on continuous process improvement is expected. The ability to function effectively in a global organization is required.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Manage/coordinate the change control and release of new code/functionality.
  • Lead the Installation and configuration of PeopleSoft Apps, Tools and 3rd party components for all environments
  • Direct/advise managed services team members by monitoring/assigning tickets, providing analysis and giving guidance
  • Continually research release notes to guide team on how best to use delivered system functionality
  • Manage the Security design and administration
  • Manage end to end Disaster Recovery testing
  • Maintain focus on vision and strategic roadmap
  • Monitor and prioritize issues/tasks, collaborate with Prologis and PwC Managed Services teams to get tickets resolved and project work completed in a timely manner

 

Essential Skills & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent education
  • 4-10 years of technical/system administration experience in PeopleSoft
  • Experience with PeopleSoft V9.2
  • Experience with PeopleTools 8.55+ (Application Designer, Fluid UI, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Component Interface, Application Packages, Data Mover)
  • Experience with Oracle databases and knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft maintenance and upgrades is a must, including a demonstrated ability in identification and application of service packs, patches/updates, bundles and migrations of required components.
  • Thorough understanding of the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA).
  • Strong knowledge of Change Assistant, PUM and Integration Broker.
  • Experience with migration tools, analyzing and retrofitting PUM images.
  • Experience with third party tools: nVision, VDI, WSFTP, Precise monitoring, SWIFT, and certificates
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft Financial Applications functionality
  • Familiarity with Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, SQL
  • Knowledge of full development life cycle including requirements, fit/gap analysis, design, development and testing
  • Possess a highly motivated can-do-attitude
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong collaboration and facilitation skills.
  • Experience communicating/leading offshore teams and third party partners
  • International experience is a plus
