Alto Pharmacy is looking for a Patient Care Pharmacist Manager to be a founding member of Alto’s Denver office. As the first manager of the Patient Care Pharmacy Team, you will set the tone for the culture and will play a significant part in building out the office while ensuring we are providing high-quality service to our patients.

What you would do:

People Manage

  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills through empathetic mentoring, giving constructive feedback and modeling Alto’s values
  • Provide support to others and act as a positive role model for others by being punctual and prepared
  • Guide your team to do their best work by providing strategic direction

Recruit

  • Play a strategic part in growing our Denver team including  interviewing and hiring a world-class patient care pharmacy team

Industry Knowledge

  • Seasoned at giving thorough in-person or remote patient consultations
  • Work closely with members of the team to make therapeutic decisions that prioritize patient  safety and quality of care
  • Empower patients with clinical knowledge to optimize health outcomes.
  • Coordinate with the patient care and operations teams to ensure safe and timely delivery of medications to our patients
  • Communicates with key stakeholders to improve existing processes and internal systems

Manage Metrics

  • Use data to strategically develop best practices and improve customer satisfaction

Collaborate

  • Use empathy with teammates and identify best practices practices when working or assisting on a project with multiple departments
  • Work interactively with a dispersed team to achieve company business and compliance goals/objectives
  • Act as a liaison between our San Francisco and Denver offices by representing the Patient Care Pharmacist Team with other business partners and leaders

Process Improvement

  • Stay abreast of relevant and evolving regulatory and industry standards, ensure that appropriate action is initiated and communicate these trends to applicable personnel

Skills/Requirements:

  • Licensed and in good standing with Colorado Board of Pharmacy
  • 5+ years of working as a retail pharmacist
  • 1+ years as a manager in a retail pharmacy setting
  • Passionate about our mission and have the desire to shape the future of pharmacy
  • Values the impact Alto makes on our patients and always puts the patient first
  • Thrives on ambiguity and finds the opportunity to help build our office from scratch energizing
  • Excited to help problem-solve the nuances of a new office and develop the culture of this new site
  • Sees a solution for every challenge
