Originations Support Specialist

You’ll be working with dozens of external parties on managing their sales pipelines and serving as a difference maker by providing the high quality of service that leads to us winning business from our competitors. You’ll leverage our technology to provide funding to businesses owners nationwide. On a typical day, you’ll be following up with our partners on their submissions, helping them navigate their applications through our review and funding process, and helping businesses of various industries qualify and fund with us. As a Originations Support Specialist at OnDeck, you will:
- Administratively manage a sales pipeline, including opening and managing cases
- Respond to inbound questions from our distribution partners and assist with a variety of issues
- Screen active deals and review declined applications
- Assist customers with closing documentation issues, including proactively reaching out to customers when Account Managers are unavailable
- Run and review a variety of sales and pipeline reports to ensure efficiency on the Account Management team
- Cover sales pipelines when team members are out of the office via phone and email
- Literally change the landscape of small business financing one conversation at a time!

Necessary qualifications for success:
- You have a 4-year Bachelor's Degree
- You have 1-3 years of experience supporting a financial services sales team from an administrative, operational, and customer service perspective
- You are self-motivated, driven to work hard in a fast-paced, dynamic working environment
- You are flexible and adaptable to immediate or unforeseen challenges and able to be persist while maintaining strong, customer relationships
- You possess highly effective verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- You have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to bring about effective and timely results
- You have strong analytical and problem solving skills
