The Professional Services Operations Manager leads the PS Operations team. The PS Ops team facilitates project activation, administration, resource management, and reporting across the PS Organization. The PS Ops team is critical to the overall scalability of the Professional Services Organization.

Strong Operations Manager candidates have experience managing teams and aggressively prioritizing requirements from a diverse group of stakeholders. Moreover, strong candidates will have deep experience with operational reporting and an ability to identify the drivers of a business and develop measures around those accordingly.

What You'll Do: 

  • Directly manage a team of PS Operations Specialists/Analysts & Data Analysts.
  • Set strategic goals for the PS Operations Team that facilitates the scalability of the entire Professional Services organization and supports the PS Managers.
  • Own all reporting across the PS Org and the maintenance of all BI or reporting platforms. This includes the design, development, and execution of Board and executive-level reports, as well as the creation of standard and custom reports as requested by PS Leadership.
  • Confirm overall data integrity of PS systems and the project-related information shared with cross-functional teams (e.g. Finance, Customer Support, Business Systems, Customer Success); ensures integrations are intact and functioning properly.
  • Own resource management, to include all processes and reporting related to resource allocation, time tracking, skill/competency tracking, and forecasting.
  • Design and maintain project activation and administration workflows to shepherd projects through the full lifecycle.
  • Leverage standard CRM (Salesforce), PSA (OpenAir) and project management solutions to provide user friendly methods for executing, tracking, and billing projects.
  • Evaluate, implement, and maintain new tools, solutions, and processes to improve and optimize PS Teams' performance
  • Support and consult Sales and other cross-functional teams in the pursuit of opportunities

Who You Are: 

  • Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a business operations role, ideally with deep experience in a technology or operations role involving reporting, business process automation/ optimization.
  • Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional certifications.
  • Proficient with Microsoft's PowerBI or other business intelligence platforms.
  • Experience with enterprise-level CRM solutions (Salesforce preferred) and project management solutions (OpenAir experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven leadership skills building and leading cohesive teams where each member takes accountability and is empowered to do exceptional work. At times, this will include the ability to optimize limited resources during unforeseen business critical situations to ensure ongoing and uninterrupted service to our internal teams and our customers.
  • Possess superior communication skills - oral, written, and visual (ex: process mapping/workflow) This includes sound judgement on when individuals need to be consulted versus informed, and whether communications go direct to individual contributors or flow through team managers.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze business process/operations and create understandable KPIs that effectively measure the key drivers of the business.
  • Ability to travel, as needed (up to 30%)
