We’re looking for an organized, passionate, and driven Operations Assistant to join our team in Downtown Denver.

What You’ll be Doing

As MeetMindful’s Operations Assistant, you’ll be primarily responsible for optimizing the daily success of our growing team. As the the primary support role for our leadership team, you’ll work closely with our VP of Operations and CEO on a daily basis. 

In our fast-paced startup environment, every day can (and will) be different. Your role is to take charge and assume responsibility for the following: 

  • Ensure that day-to-day financial processes run smoothly and effectively:
    • Coordinate regular accounts payables + receivables
    • Own daily bookkeeping and account reconciliation
    • Produce monthly and quarterly financial close reports for key stakeholders
    • Complete recurring tasks relating to employee benefits and payroll
    • Interface with our external accounting, finance and tax vendors
  • Support MeetMindful’s CEO and leadership team:
    • Assist with planning and execution of projects
    • Keep the CEO on track with scheduling and prioritization 
    • Act as a gatekeeper to the leadership team
    • Occasionally perform personal assistant tasks 
  • Support the general operations of the team at our Denver, CO HQ, including:
    • Assist with strategic goal tracking and management across the organization
    • Act as the main point of contact for the building management company and associated vendors
    • Coordinate all-team activities (meetings, celebrations, volunteer days, and more)
    • Keep the office stocked with amazing snacks, drinks, office supplies, and more

  • Professional communication skills, both written and spoken
  • The ability to manage complex projects from start to finish with limited supervision
  • High levels of emotional intelligence and a drive for continual self-improvement
  • Expert-level skills in Excel, Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, etc.), and project management systems (Asana, Clubhouse, etc.)
  • Either a bachelor’s degree in business, operations, finance or related field, or an associate’s degree with 2+ years of experience in a similar role.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting systems
  • Experience working with Agile or Lean Startup methodologies
  • Experience with mobile dating and social apps
