Onboarding Specialist
GHX is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to join our Human Resources team to foster a positive and rewarding new hire experience for all incoming employees. As the Onboarding Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects related to the onboarding of new employees and serve as the main point of contact for internal employees transitioning to new roles. As the onboarding "concierge" you will partner with recruiting post-offer stage through a new hire's first 90 days to ensure seamless logistics, a fast track to role proficiency and instill confidence in the new hire as they navigate their new role. The ideal candidate for this position will perform a variety of human resource activities with a positive, self-motivated and organized approach.What You'll Do In This Role
- Connects with all new hires post-offer to guide them through the new hire process and roadmap.
- Prepares individual New Hire Quick Start Guides for new hires and shares all relevant information packages and new hire guides with the hiring manager.
- Sets all pre-Day 1 hiring manager or team calls include calendar invites for New Hire Orientation.
- Responsible for maintaining and developing new hire sway including shipment of personalized welcome materials.
- Works with hiring teams to create and deliver personalized welcome experiences for new hires.
- Prepares all New Hire Orientation and benefit materials for the employees first day. Manages New Hire Orientation, building tour (post Covid) and ensures applicable onboarding documents are completed.
- Partners with ET to ensure and track new hire hardware delivery and system set up. Works with the new hire and ET post Day 1 to ensure system set up is working and complete.
- Verifies Social Security number and I-9 documentation for new employees. Maintains accurate documentation of verification in accordance with applicable federal, state and local law.
- Trains all new hires on the Ultimate Software HRIS and timekeeping system. Instructs them on ways to navigate within the system and review pay and benefit information.
- Works with new hires to ensure compliance training is complete within a standard SLA across the business.
- Assists new hires with additional programs such as T&E, corporate credit cards and navigating the GHX Hub.
- Prepares and maintains 30 day new hire reviews, 45, 90 & annual employee check-ins.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience including working with a new hire process
- 3+ years building and executing on employee centric programs in support of an employee value proposition
- Experience providing a high level of employee or customer service including meeting specific KPIs
- Associates degree and or combination of relevant education and work experience
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and deadlines
Preferred Experience
- Experience guiding the new hire onboarding in a tech environment
- BA/BS in a relevant area
- HRIS software experience
Estimated Salary range for this position: $49,900 - $62,300The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of GHX's total compensation package for employees.
