Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced network acceptance specialist to build upon this reputation with an unwavering commitment to standards-based network and service deployments. The ideal candidate is an organized, methodical professional with the experience necessary to take our products to the next level with respect to accuracy and guidelines. The Acceptance Specialist will be charged with following and developing a complete network acceptance program that not only audits the quality of our deployments, but also fosters a “quality culture”.
Objectives of this Role
• Interpret, build upon, and comply with company network acceptance standards • Carefully maintain complaint and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions
• Document network acceptance activities with internal reporting and audits • Develop new standards for new technology, with improvements as needed, and create testing protocols for implementation across all product groups
• Identify training needs and take action to ensure company-wide compliance • Pursue continuing education on new services, and technology
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
• Plan, execute, and oversee existing and new deployments to confirm acceptance process conformance to vendor specifications and guidelines
• Assist operations in tracking, documenting, and reporting acceptance violation patterns • Analyze and investigate customer complaints or reported vendor specific issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines
• Develop or update company audit and inspection procedures
• Monitor risk-management procedures, and maintain and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management and product groups
• Provide training and support to operations teams on new systems, policies, procedures, and core processes
Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, Quality Engineer, or Quality Auditor • Superb computer competence, including database management
• Knowledge of network acceptance terminology, methods, and tools
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practice
Preferred Qualifications
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it
Base Salary Range-$58,100- $77,450
