The Vertafore Netsuite Administrator I is an opportunity for someone who is detail oriented, has a basic knowledge of accounting fundamentals, and a strong curiosity for solving problems through technology. The candidate will work within a team of other Netsuite and Salesforce professionals, focused on maintaining and enhancing the existing Vertafore Netsuite instance.
Daily Requirements and Responsibilities:
This position will entail the following roles and responsibilities:
Actively participate in daily "Scrum" meetings to collaborate on work assignments.
Perform and manage the execution of our monthly billing process.
Monitor and proactively work issues found on our "ticket queue" of open issues.
Serve as a point of contact for NetSuite application support, escalating to Netsuite customer support as necessary.
Follow and improve upon, existing internal process documentation.
Serve as a "QA" resource to validate system changes made by your peers.
Be willing to work in a structured "change release" environment; we are operating under the rules of SOX.
Embrace managing your work tasks through a ticketing system (versus email inbox.)
Be accountable to completing collaboratively-assigned tasks on a bi-weekly (sprint) schedule.
Create and enhance Netsuite searches and reports as needed.
Suggest and implement Netsuite system modifications within the framework of our business requirements and change review environment.
Strive to become an internal expert in one or more broad aspects of our Netsuite system which spans across A/R, A/P, P2P, Revenue, Professional Services and Accounting.
Communicate and collaborate with other team resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues, and creative solutions

Self-motivated individual who can work with limited direction, while keeping key constituents apprised of project status, and ability to grasp concepts quickly.
A demonstrated acumen and curiosity for using technology to solve business problems.
Ideal skills:
Prior experience with Netsuite customizations, including (but not limited to) Custom Fields, Workflows, SuiteScript, User Roles and Dashboards.
Strong experience with creating Netsuite saved searches, financial reports and/or Analytics datasets and workbooks.
Familiarity with areas covering ERP (GL, Financials, Banking, Payables, and Receivables), CRM (Life cycle from Lead to Quote to order, Marketing to ROI), Electronic Funds Transactions, and Fixed Asset
Prior experience managing Celigo or Talend
Prior experience managing DOMO
Prior experience using ServiceNow
Prior experience with any of the following Netsuite related technologies: PurchaseOrders, Billing Operations, SRP, ARM, VendorBills, Zone Advanced Billing, SquareWorks, Mavenlink, Nolan Bank Reconciliation, Cybersource
Prior experience working in a "Scrum" environment
Additional Requirements and Details:
Travel required up to 10% of the time.
Located and working from an office location (once it is safe to do so).
Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer, etc.).
Frequent sitting and/or standing.
