In support of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Service Manager (in other companies your job title could be IT Manager, IT Director) to join our Managed IT team. The Service Manager holds the ultimate accountability for their dedicated client base’s technology needs and satisfaction, and leads a team to create enthusiastically satisfied clients. You will need to think outside the box to find solutions that fit your client’s needs and expectations. This role will be located in our Boulder office. 

Additional responsibilities include the following: 

  • Empowering and leading a consulting team to connect on a human level with our clients and provide outstanding service in every interaction
  • Building lasting individual relationships with clients
  • Acting as a technical escalation point for the client services teams as needed, jumping in to assist when complex solutions are needed
  • Be an active part of the sales process in partnership with the Sales & Marketing team
  • Always maintaining the lens of what Greystone’s responsibilities are, what our team’s responsibilities are, and what our clients’ responsibilities are to ensure a balanced approach in the way we do business, and communicating these things effectively across a diverse group of individuals
  • Mentoring team members and promoting Greystone’s values through enthusiastic participation in our performance management processes
  • Ensuring that teams have a balance of autonomy and accountability consistent with Greystone’s core values
  • Executive reporting and communication
  • Spending time with team members in the office and with clients at their locations

Here are the attributes we’re looking for: 

  • 6+ combined years in a Business Technology environment
  • Previous leadership experience preferred 
  • Previous Managed Service Provider experience preferred
  • Policy and industry compliance experience (HIPPA, PCI, SOX, ISO)
  • Software control and licensing compliance experience
  • Experience with multiyear budgeting
  • Experience with Microsoft platforms (e.g. Office 365, Active Directory, all current flavors of Windows)
  • Experience working with a distributed workforce
  • Cloud solutions knowledge and experience
  • Knowledge of application integration
  • Virtualization experience (VMWare, Hyper-V)
  • Advanced knowledge of networking principles, what they mean, and how they interact (TCPIP, DNS, DHCP, Lan/Wan)
  • Experience configuring and maintaining firewalls and routers
  • Experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining peripherals (scanners, fax machines, printers, etc.)
  • Experience troubleshooting standard hardware configurations
  • Exposure to malware/virus remediation
  • Basic Apple troubleshooting experience
  • A proven ability to quickly learn and support various line of business applications
  • Knowledge of basic backup and disaster recovery concepts
