About the role

The Market Operations team at Robinhood is responsible for traditional middle office brokerage operations. Our mission is to deliver an excellent end-customer experience and mitigate firm risk while supporting cutting-edge brokerage and financial products. We're looking for a motivated self-starter to manage our Margin desk. As a Market Operations Manager (Margin), you’ll be building and managing a team that executes on critical daily margin functions, and scaling this team to support Robinhood’s ambitious growth plans. You’ll strategize operational efficiency by automating daily tasks, and collaborating with our product and engineering teams to execute on innovative projects. This is an opportunity to run one of Robinhood’s most crucial business lines.

Your day-to-day will involve:

• Oversee the forecasting, planning, and intra-day workforce management of the Margin desk
• Coordinate Margin desk responsibilities including alert monitoring, suitability reviews, and resolving escalations
• Work closely with our engineering and product teams to launch, improve, and scale Robinhood’s Margin product and systems
• Manage and resolve escalated issues from our product, support, and operations teams
• Build and coach a team of Margin Specialists to manage one of Robinhood’s largest business lines
• Serve as the supervisory principal over margin for Robinhood’s introducing broker-dealer

• 3 years experience in Brokerage Operations and/or Bachelor’s in finance, business, or quantitative field
• Series 7, Series 63, and Series 24. Series 57 desired
• Strong Robinhood product knowledge
• Expert-level knowledge of middle office brokerage operations and margin
