ANGI Homeservices mission is to empower Homeowners to get quality work done on their homes.  This requires ANGI to maintain a robust network of quality service providers.  Our team is constantly iterating, solving problems, and working cross functionally in order to ensure that we identify bad actors and eliminate them from the network.  We work to continuously improve the network by preventing fraudulent companies from joining and also investigate trends that identify existing providers are up to no good.  Successful candidates will have strong investigative skills, a bias towards action, enjoy finding patterns amid chaos, and are up for an exciting challenge.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct analysis to define fraudulent patterns and work cross functionality to create tools to quickly identify and prevent fraud
  • Analyze, identify, and determine root causes of specific fraud issues
  • Implement solutions that reduce the occurrence of fraudulent behavior
  • Prepare and deliver reports on key business metrics needed by managers, customer care agents, and other business partners to mitigate risk
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on potential risks and solutions, as defined by Executive Leadership
  • Focus on proactive analysis and thinking in order to reduce the expense of managing solutions on a one by one basis
  • Prepare monthly reporting regarding escalated risk issues 
  • Develop new processes and reports that ensure ANGI Homeservices maintains a network of quality SPs
  • Develop an understanding of operational efficiency vs. risk management, based on business needs
  • Sort incident/work queues to ensure projects are handled in a timely fashion and are prioritized as needed for the business
  • Serve as the main point of contact between cross-functional teams, including high-level executives
  • Lead Risk Management meetings with high-level executives

 Experience and skills desired: 

  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills; advanced Excel skills preferred
  • Experience leading a team and properly setting priority to most effectively use time and resources
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Works calmly under pressure and able to remain level headed under tight deadlines
  • Fraud analysis experience
  • Must be able to quickly comprehend and respond to new tasks
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication abilities necessary
  • Self-motivated with strong ability to manage timelines, projects, and cross-functional team deliverables
  • Ability to work across operational and executive teams
  • Understand how to balance your role with the business needs
