Manager, RFP & Proposals
About the Role:
Udemy is looking for a people manager to develop and lead our Request for Proposal (RFP) strategy for Udemy Business (UB). As part of this role, you will hire, coach and manage a team that responds to proposals submitted from potential and existing customers. This person will work closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Content, and Solutions Engineering leadership to improve win rates and standardize a winning approach.

Here's what you'll be doing:
- Develop and execute an RFP strategy for UB
- Manage a team that reviews, responds, and collates RFP documentation requests
- Set team goals, with input from key stakeholders, to increase win rates and achieve RFP process efficiencies
- Coach team members on written proposals and winning RFP strategies
- Work with sales leadership to train our Account Executives on RFP best practices
- Regularly interact with senior management on RFP initiatives and program updates.
- Grow your EdTech knowledge to become a subject matter expert and go-to leader for related RFP questions
- Manage technology specific to the RFP process.
- Work cross-functionally to drive visibility and collaboration for process improvement
- Prioritize team activities and RFP cases to match business needs

We're Excited About You Because You Have:
- 8+ years of RFP experience in a SaaS environment
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Designed RFP processes with proven increases in win rates
- Impeccable verbal and written communication that is able to clearly and professionally convey the capabilities, ideas, and value of Udemy to a variety of audiences
- The ability to troubleshoot responses that involve multiple stakeholders and aggressive timelines
Minimum $111,000-$150,000 + Equity + Benefits (See Below)
Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado.
