Job Overview
SonderMind is seeking a Manager/Director of Strategy and Projects to support our growing network of clients and licensed providers. As a Manager/Director of Strategy and Projects you will serve as cross-functional, project-based resources and internal consultant to drive towards SonderMind’s company goals. You will be responsible for leading and managing projects that may range from research-based business decisions, standing up new business initiatives, or supporting business unit owners in meeting their own strategy objectives.
As our ideal candidate, you have proven experience working cross-functionally to drive towards business outcomes in your organization. You excel in project management, influencing others and analyzing data to drive towards business decisions. You are able to be strategic and see the big picture, but can also be tactical and get into the weeds at the same time.
Example Projects May Include
- Leading or supporting the launch of new cross-functional software or processes to support company scaling
- Leading or supporting cross-functional initiatives to advance new market launches or new company offerings and extend SonderMind’s impact
- Evaluating processes and ROI of current pilots and internal initiatives and driving towards ‘go/no-go’ decisions
- Owning centralized strategic functions like competitive intelligence or company trainings
- Leading or mentoring individuals within the Strategy and Projects team or in other departments to support these types of projects
Gotta Have
- Project Management: Proven cross-functional project management skills, ability to stay organized with multiple stakeholders and work-streams and drive towards outcomes
- Influential Team Player: Ability to influence cross-functionally without formal authority to meet shared objectives
- Data-driven: Use data to make recommendations and get to the best answer.
- Critical thinking: Ability to quickly digest information and dissect a problem, ask ‘why’ and be comfortable with finding a solution without perfect information
- Process and solution-driven: Ability to identify the solution and get into the weeds to help implement it, “not just slides”
- At least 5-8 years of professional experience
Nice to Have
- Experience in healthcare and/or fast-growing technology organizations
- Software implementation, process improvement and workflow design experience
