What You'll Do

  • As a Manager of Customer Success, Data & Insights, you will lead, coach, and empower our team of analysts and data specialists who, along with the Enterprise Customer Success Managers, support our key customers. You’ll be an integral part of the day-to-day Customer Success operations, helping achieve our mission to advocate for, consult with, and empower our customers. You’ll become a GoSpotCheck product expert, helping your team deliver an exceptional customer experience and enabling our customers use the product to its fullest potential. Additionally, you’ll be both the technical and business subject matter expert for your team, helping them grow professionally and find long-term success within their role.

What We'll Achieve

  • Through your experience and insights, you’ll mentor and grow our Data and Insights team.
  • Our customers will benefit from responsive and impactful analytics, insights, and recommendations through the Data & Insights team initiatives.
  • We’ll optimize and improve our processes for managing data support and troubleshooting customer requests.
  • We’ll automate wherever possible to make our team and customers most efficient.
  • We’ll work across the GoSpotCheck organization to enhance our internal reporting, processes and services.
  • You’ll level up our Data and Insights team’s technical skills and business acumen.
  • With our product expertise and consistent messaging, our largest customers will be well-versed in best practices for utilizing the GoSpotCheck application.
  • Our team’s ability to troubleshoot problems and identify root causes will keep our customers delighted at the industry-leading level of service they receive.
  • We’ll educate ourselves in our customer’s business and industry preferences, setting ourselves up to be strategic partners, not just SaaS providers.

Who You Are

  • You have 1-3 years of management experience leading an analyst or consulting team.
  • You believe a critical measure of your success as a manager, is your ability to retain and contribute to the professional growth of your team.
  • You have a solid grasp of SQL and have lived and breathed it in previous positions.
  • You have written custom reports and dashboards in at least one BI tool.
  • You are proficient with Python or another programming language to automate work or process large datasets.
  • You have created and presented business insights based upon data and business analysis to customers directly. These insights and recommendations had a material impact on customers.
  • You have worked across internal teams to make processes, services and products more efficient.
  • You have created and implemented standard technical and business practices to better serve customers.
  • You are an intelligent, empathetic, resourceful problem-solver.
  • Your communication style (written and verbal) is clear, direct, and confident.
  • Having too much work and not enough time doesn’t make you come unglued - You understand how to prioritize and focus on what is important.
  • You’re ahead of the game if you have experience working in retail and know terms such as end-cap, planogram, point-of-sale, display compliance, brand ambassadors, goal based attainment, etc.
  • You have completed a bachelor’s degree. Bonus points for anything beyond that!
  • If you have it, we’d love to see technical writing samples or training materials you have created.
  • You appreciate and align with our company values.
