The Opportunity

Marketo is looking for a Manager of Customer Success who will be responsible for the management, direction and success of the commercial Customer Success team. This team, comprised of Customer Success Managers (CSMs), is responsible for, adoption, retention, and expansion of focused accounts.

This role sits in our Denver office and reports to the VP, Customer Success.

What will you do?

  • Lead the customer success organization to drive deep engagement, value and service across our customer base.
  • Lead and motivate the team to close renewal revenue on a quarterly basis, meeting or exceeding the team quota
  • Engage customers in regular business reviews to ensure adoption and marketing maturity advancement, high CSAT, and advocacy
  • Translate our values of being Customer Obsessed, Radically Transparent, Boldly Accountable into action across CSMs team
  • Serve as cross-functional leader at Marketo – to ensure a unified, seamless experience and service across customers
  • Maintain enablement, training and mentoring of our CSMs to enable them to excel at their jobs
  • Recruit CSMs and other team members in an effective, scalable and timely manner to ensure that we are resourced in full to drive these goals.
  • Identify areas of improvement and make recommendations for improvement based on data, analytics and best practices

Is this you?

  • 8+ year's experience within customer success, account management, or sales in a SaaS organization, with a preference of MarTech experience
  • 3+ year's experience in managing customer success/account management teams
  • Experience leading sales efforts or teams working with existing customer base
  • Experience with Marketing Automation, CRM or related products in a SaaS environment
  • Must be adept at navigating large complex organizations, matrixed decision-making, working with multiple stakeholders both internally and within customer organization
  • Proven ability to analyze complex situations and develop action plans to lead a cross functional team to the key objectives
  • Must be able to demonstrate a high-degree of customer-centric thinking, behavior and track record
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Has worked cross-functionally between sales and support teams

Our new office is in the Denver City Center near plenty of shops and restaurants. We also have amazing views of the Rocky Mountains from our windows.
