Position Description
This position is primarily responsible for owning and driving M&A and Strategy initiatives for the Corporate Development and Strategy team.
Responsibilities
- Lead detailed financial modeling exercises, leveraging various types of analyses (e.g., M&A models, DCF analyses)
- Synthesize disparate information from multiple sources
- Communicate (using both verbal and written communications) convincingly and succinctly with Zayo’s senior leadership team
- Produce error-free reports using PowerPoint/Google Slides and analyses using Excel/Google Sheets under time pressure
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Work 40+ hours per week and under tight time constraints as necessary
- Work independently while leveraging support from all levels of Zayo
- Travel for investor meetings, conferences, etc. (sometimes with little advanced notice)
Qualifications
- BA or BS in Finance, Accounting or Economics (MBA preferred)
- 4+ years in Investment Banking, Equity Research or Consulting
- 2+ years in telecom
