POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Logistics Associate. As a member of our team, you will be working in a collaborative environment. The logistics associate is responsible for assisting in all production floor activities necessary to support manufacturing and quality. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform 1 or more of the following

            Shipping: International and Domestic

  • Verifies products per the customer purchase order
  • Packages and ships temperature-sensitive products
  • Prepares and maintains documentation for international shipments
  • Prepares shipments for internal department requests and subcontract manufactured component requirements
  • Enters shipment information in the ERP
  • Maintains hard copy and electronic shipping records
  • Tracks the status of shipments and trouble shoots any delivery delays
  • Supports the Operations team in a variety of administrative tasks as required

Material Handling:

  • Perform material pulls based on requests from internal teams
  • Perform cycle counts of inventory based on Inventory management requests
  • Pull, package, and verify subcontractor manufactured component requests
  • Perform internal inventory moves
  • Maintain scrap moves and disposal
  • Maintain proper storage of temperature sensitive product
  • Work with Quality department for the release of approved product
  • Responsible for the organization and maintenance of all storage locations

Receiving:

  • Receive materials according to standard operating procedures, verify and sign for appropriate number of packages with carriers, etc.
  • Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
  • Verify materials according to packing list (quantity, lot, expiration)
  • Troubleshoot, track and provide updates for discrepancies related to products received
  • Organize materials received for quality inspections
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance, responsible for accurate and thorough documentation completion

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • The employee is regularly required to talk and hear
  • The employee is frequently required to sit, use hands to fingers, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms
  • The employee is regularly required to stand or walk
  • Occasional usage of hand trucks and pallet jacks is required
  • Regular lifting and bending are required

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3 yrs experience in receiving, inventory clerk, shipping or similar position
  • Working knowledge of administrative transactions within an ERP system
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Working knowledge of electronic inventory management systems required
  • Previous experience with temperature sensitive materials preferred
  • Previous experience with barcoding systems preferred
  • Basic math and recording abilities
  • Ability to operate pallet jack, two-wheeler and any other equipment required for position

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail 

KEY ATTRIBUTES:

  • Experience working in regulated environments (ISO, FDA)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Attention to detail and proficient in data entry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn technical information provided in trainings
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and work effectively in a team environment

 

In Colorado, our competitive compensation package includes a base salary starting from $19.00 per hour.  In determining the final salary offered, we will evaluate a specific candidate's geographic location, education, skills, and experience.
