Alteryx is searching for an Learning Operations Specialist based in our Irvine, CA or Broomfield, CO office. This position is remote-friendly.
Learning Operations Manager
The Learning Operations Manager is a member of the Customer Enablement Organization. This person is responsible for the direction, strategy, and execution of sound training operations best practices. This includes owning the day-to-day business operations of running a global customer training business at a high growth software company. Responsibilities include policy making, financial oversight, managing key operations systems, building and maintaining processes and managing the business alongside key stakeholders (finance, legal, channels and sales operations etc.). This is a leadership role that blends operational excellence with the ability to ensure compliance with finance requirements, sales targets, and education services business best practices.
Key Outcomes for this Role:

  • Collect and prioritize requirements, solicit bids, select a vendor, and implement an Enterprise Learning Management System (LMS) for Alteryx.
  • Stand up and staff a help desk capability for the Customer Enablement team.
  • Oversee day to day operations of the education services business, including sales and order management, partner operations management, and LMS.
  • Advise cross functional teams on best practices as related to revenue generation, metrics and reporting, KPIs, systems integration, and the order to cash process for education services.
  • Oversee standards-based metrics and reporting for the team.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate financial rules and regulations, including order management, forecasting and revenue reconciliation.
  • Lead special projects to further globally scale the training business such as integration between the LMS and Salesforce, paywall implementation, credit card integration between the LMS and other systems, and Business Intelligence reporting.
  • Interface with Legal and IT to lead vendor management for the Customer Enablement Team.
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting process.


Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Guide, manage, and oversee all aspect of the Customer Enablement operations business.
  • Work with internal teams such as PMO, Marketing, Sales Operations, Finance, IT, etc. on SKU updates, pricing updates, policies, best practices, and order entry
  • Administer the LMS.
  • Manage projects for optimization of the EDU business.
  • Track and report key metrics and system integration points.


Key Interfaces and Working Relationships

  • Internal: CS, Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Rev Rec, IT
  • External: Authorized vendors, partners, CEdMA, TSIA


Knowledge, Skills & Attributes specific to this role:

  • Subject matter expertise of running training operations at a fast pace, high growth tech company.
  • Solid experience and knowledge of Learning Management Systems, forecasting tools and/or CMS tools as related to the education services business.
  • A thorough understanding the technical education services business inside a software company.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across functions with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience of managing partner/vendor relationships, especially training delivery partners and certification vendors.
  • Experience of working in a customer service role.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with tight timeframes in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience with data sciences technologies and communities preferred.


Formal qualifications and other attributes required for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Travel is minimal
  • Ideal location is Irvine CA, or Broomfield CO, but remote worker candidates will be equally considered.


Compensation:
Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Irvine, CA is $74,900-$123,600. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus and stock grants.
