Learning and Development Specialist - Peaksware
As our Learning & Development Specialist, you will help Peaksware succeed by training and developing our people. You will help our employees and managers advance their skills and knowledge by leveraging our existing competency based performance review model, as well as creating and executing other learning strategies and programs.
You will sit directly with the HR team and report to the Director, People Operations.
Core Functions
- Partner with leadership to manage and iterate the existing competency based performance review model (Growth Frameworks).
- Collaborate with leadership stakeholders to ensure buy-in of learning solutions.
- Create and execute learning strategies and programs.
- Evaluate and provide recommendations around individual and organizational development needs.
- Design and publish learning modules (in-person and online) and course material
- Facilitate training to employees using a variety of instructional techniques (classroom and virtual).
- Manage learning projects end-to-end; from pre-training analysis to post-training evaluation.
- Measure the effectiveness of training initiatives, evaluating the results and implementing enhancements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree and 4 years’ L&D experience, or any combination of relevant education and experience.
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices.
- Ability to build rapport with employees, leadership, and vendors.
- Experience in a fast paced SaaS environment.
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
- General knowledge of employment/labor laws.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach.

Benefits
Peaksware is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is $54,151 - $90,252. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment that is well-lighted, heated, and/or air-conditioned with adequate ventilation and a noise level that is usually moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
