As a Change Manager operating within the ITIL framework, you will be responsible for delivering an environment that is focused on risk mitigation, efficiency, quality, and transparency. This is achieved by managing operations effectively while being closely aligned to the affected business teams and balancing all stakeholders’ needs. The candidate must be client-focused, as well as being data and technically literate. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required, along with the confidence to communicate effectively with internal customers and teammates.

 

This role is expected to contribute to and be responsible for the direction and continued success of Change Management by executing assigned projects, in parallel with managing operational activity. A successful candidate will provide leadership to small groups, while actively collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the organization’s objectives are achieved by optimizing resources and technology. A thorough understanding of the company’s business operations is a must, as well as a broad knowledge of customer/contract base.

 

The candidate will have excellent knowledge and experience in Information Technology, experience in ITSM, should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and be flexible to adapt to change.

 

General Job Duties:

  • Chairing CAB meetings
  • Ensuring operational activity is maintaining the integrity of data in the system
  • Aligning the function with business needs and strategic directions
  • Continuously learning to adapt new technology or methodology into business solutions
  • Continuously improving, supporting, and identifying opportunities to reduce risk, increase efficiency, and expand services
  • Communicating and collaborating with stakeholders regarding technical issues and creative solutions
  • Performing other duties as required
  • Working as part of the Global Change Management team and providing guidance and mentorship to more junior Change Managers

 

 

Specific Job Duties:

  • Support, develop, administrate, and maintain our Change function
  • Deliver daily Change Management activities
  • Work closely with the wider Service Management function to effectively design and build reports, processes, and deliverables
  • Develop, configure, and improve the Change process
  • Work directly with IT and business functions to proactively identify issues and address them effectively
  • Develop reports and presentations for the leadership team
  • Have an open, flexible approach to issue identification and resolution

 

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong abilities in ITSM functions and experience of delivery of IT Services
  • Flexibility to work with a variety of personalities and styles
  • Excellent team player, ready to face challenges and opportunities involved in working on a global team
  • Effective communication; providing clear, concise, and impactful messages describing technical concepts to both technical and non-technical people
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead complex IT projects
  • Strong understanding of commonly used office applications
  • Work effectively as part of a support team; foster team cooperation, communication, and collaboration
  • Excellent ability to drive action and decisions
  • Ability to logically collate and analyze data to identify trends and issues

 

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • ITIL v3 certification
  • 10+ years of general experience in one or more IT functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Experience in designing enterprise-level service solutions with integration between multiple applications
  • Thorough understanding of ITSM and industry best-practices
  • Managing projects for cross-functional teams to deliver on time, quality, and cost
  • Expertise in a metrics-driven environment where progress is demonstrated through improving metrics
