Alteryx is searching for an Italian Localization specialist in Broomfield, CO (REMOTE is an option).

Position Overview:

At Alteryx, one of our Localization team’s objective is to have our users around the globe feel like our software was made with them in mind. As the Italian Localization specialists, you will be joining the Product Localization team at Alteryx to assist in supporting our rapidly growing global presence.

As the Italian Localization specialist on the Product Localization team, you will be responsible for ensuring the customer and linguistic experience that we offer through our localized products is one that is sound and well received in the language at hand. In this role, you will work closely with product managers to understand their features and validate the experience from an international user’s perspective. You will play a critical role in ensuring that Italian speaking customers are advocated for in the product development org. You will also be responsible for the Italian linguistic style, tone, and messaging that we display to our users in our localized SKU of products. Through collaboration with other language stakeholders in the company and industry research, you will be responsible for owning these linguistic components and ensuring that as we grow as a platform, we maintain consistent linguistic style across our products.

What you'll do:

  • Work closely with product management and attend agile rituals such as PI planning meetings, bi-weekly demo’s, feature kick off’s but also events such as CS enablement sessions to integrate yourself into the product/dev processes.

  • Help validate features that our product managers introduce to our localized products to confirm that the localization of the UI and user experience is seamless and one that our users would expect.

  • Work closely with our UX team to assist in early confirmation of mockups to ensure designs are compliant to what our Italian speaking users would expect.

  • Participate in early product alphas to start learning about new products/features that are planned to be localized and help drive participation in product beta’s where localization testing/customer validation would be appropriate.

  • Proactively engage with other Italian speaking stakeholders to allow for opportunities to get in-language product feedback in preparation for localized product launches. This can also happen at the beta phase.

  • Develop and build upon Italian linguistic and cultural standards and guidelines, define quality expectations across the whole localized user product experience, including supporting the development of style guides, glossaries, tone and voice of our Alteryx platform.

  • Monitor the Italian linguistic quality output using our internal TMS quality metrics and KPIs and provide feedback and context to the translation teams for each of the languages/markets supported, to ensure the best resource fit for the highest quality impact.

  • Provide product trainings to our LSP translation teams as we continue to grow our SKU of localized products to help in the improvement of translation quality.

  • Establish, maintain, and have language assets and terminology accessible to other language stakeholders at Alteryx to ensure consistency and alignment with the rest of the org’s team that work in supporting our various regions.

Required skills:

  • Native speaker of Italian and business proficient in English

  • Have 2-5 years’ experience in the localization industry

  • Bring a deep understanding of your language’s culture and nuances

  • Be able to multitask and rise to the occasion to help other team members

  • Take the initiative to work cross-functionally with the other language stakeholders at Alteryx

  • The candidate will be thoughtful and have a knack to always want to progress

  • Software experience/technical in nature

Valued skills:

  • You have experience with analytic software or have used Alteryx in a previous role

  • You understand the analytic environment, competitive landscape, and trends in your respective region

  • You have worked with Localization technology and have helped to improve localization processes at a previous company

Compensation:

Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Broomfield, CO is $68,200 - $112,500. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. 

This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus and stock grants.
