Mersive is a rapidly growing software company in downtown Denver that offers an award-winning wireless collaboration product suite that is transforming how organizations work and learn. We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our fast-paced IT Team. This person will report to the IT Manager and own responsibility for supporting our internal IT infrastructure and users. The role requires an individual with the drive to learn new technology and a passion for supporting the operation of our internal IT systems and users. All while seeing the bigger picture and keeping the environment 100% reliable.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administration and support for all IT technology platforms
  • Maintain, monitor, and administer Network, Firewall and VPN
  • Maintain and administer VMware and Mac environments and backups
  • Linux administration experience
  • Microsoft 365, GSuite, Anti-Virus, VOIP and other systems as needed
  • AWS and Wordpress experience
  • Manage security incident response and mitigation
  • Manage help desk tickets and act as escalation point for ticket resolution
  • Own user auditing and access level auditing for all IT systems
  • Maintain and administer patch management for systems
  • Maintain, monitor, and administer identity management software
  • Create process and procedure documentation as needed
  • Experience handling new system roll outs from conception to implementation
  • Manage security posture for all IT systems
  • Create log analysis and reporting process/system
  • Leverage IT tools to automate solutions for repetitive tasks
  • Manage various infrastructure projects, such as hardware upgrades and system implementations, from start to completion.
  • Interacting with third party vendors for support and purchases
  • Work occasional evenings and weekends as required
  • Role required onsite work in Denver office on regular basis

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience with Systems, Network and Applications administration in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • 2 years of experience with project work in a dynamic IT environment
  • Proficiency with networking administration and concepts
  • Exceptional customer service, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365, GSuite, Security, Palo Alto or VMware certifications or education

Bonus points for experience with:

  • Palo Alto Firewall and Aruba Networking experience
  • Proficiency administering and supporting Windows OS and hardware
  • Experience with Mac OS and hardware administration and troubleshooting
  • Able to configure a variety of devices and systems, including servers, network equipment, A/V equipment, desktops, laptops, iPhone/Android smartphones and printers
  • Experience with HPE Servers and Nimble SAN
  • Proficient with Veeam backup systems
  • Experience with Okta and JumpCloud
  • Experience with patch management administration
  • Experience with RingCentral
  • Experience with Crowdstrike, Proofpoint, LastPass
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple, simultaneous assignments
  • Flexibility working with a variety of vendor technologies
  • Ability and comfort to handle and tackle ambiguity
