We are seeking an IT Systems Administrator to join our team and help us achieve our ambitious goals for our business and for the planet.

What you get to do:

• Provide support for all Information Technology (IT) corporate environment, including network, servers, Mac desktop and Windows desktop and cloud based application issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software problems including remote access software.
• Participate in security audits and manage Uplight’s back office systems in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Set up new computers and install operating systems.
• Track end user requests in a service request ticket tracking system.
• Act as tier two escalation point for IT support issues.
• Create, update, and organize documentation for the team and the company.

What you bring to Uplight:

• Ability to prioritize your schedule in order to meet customer’s needs
• A passion for customer service
• Proficiency with both Mac OS and Windows OS
• Skill with Microsoft Office and Google Apps
• Experience working in a regulated industry and familiar with information security audits
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role - 5 years minimum
• Experience with Cisco Meraki network equipment - switches, access points and firewalls 
• Ability to create scripts (Python, PowerShell or similar)
• Familiarity with Google G Suite administration

Bonus Points:

• Experience with the following software: Dropbox, Amazon Web Services, JumpCloud SSO, Atlassian Confluence, Jira, ZenDesk
