Velocity Global is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. This full-time position will be based in our Denver, CO headquarters. You’ll be the first line of defense, the Apple guru, the one who our users come to trust. We’re not just looking for another techie, we’re looking for someone who wants to learn and grow with us. This IT Support Specialist requires a broad technical skill-set, ability to function independently with little supervision, and experience working on project-based initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Experience supporting Apple hardware (MacBooks, iPhones, AppleTV, etc.)
• Diagnosing problems with supported applications
• Setup of new users
• Audio/Visual equipment setup and troubleshooting
• Basic network troubleshooting
• Basic printer troubleshooting
• Troubleshooting Microsoft Office 2016
• Managing G Suite products

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• 2-3 years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
• Exceptional people, communication, and time management skills
• Prefer a candidate with some development experience and an interest in helping with development projects. Java, JavaScript, APIs, etc. are a plus.
• Technical certifications preferred (Apple, CompTIA, etc.)
• Experience using an MDM solution (JAMF, Addigy, etc.)
