Your Mission

 

Establish Pie as the preeminent commercial insurance among small business owners by establishing a best in class information technology practices that will ensure Pie employees have the tools and technologies they need to set them up for success.

 

How You’ll Do It

We are a growing organization, and you must have the ability to scale as the company grows.

Pie’s information technology team work out of both Denver and DC, but don’t let the geographical divide fool you. This incredibly collaborative team is in tight, constant communication. Sitting in Denver, you will be a trusted partner to Pie employees both existing and new.

Day to Day

  • Managing all internal technology systems including internal networks, external networks, VPNs, AV, telephony, computer hardware, and computer software.
  • Ensure internal security best practices for employee computers, Pie data, Pie network access and backup systems.
  • Ensuring all new Pie-oneers have their computer and phone set up and ready for use when they arrive on their first day.
  • Provide IT assistance via remote support channels to all Pie employees for a multitude of operational tasks e.g. password resets, access requests, application support.
  • Keep the IT team scaling efficiently by automating onboarding, offboarding and access workflows
  • Provision/Deprovision accounts/computers. Setup and document all required access for new employees
  • Work with functional teams and business leaders to ensure all standard profiles for new hire access are kept up to date.
  • Administrate and integrate cloud services: O365, GSuite, Slack etc. 
  • Create and update technology documentation for internal IT teams and for Pie employees.

You will be joining our team in downtown Denver, specifically LoDo within walking distance from Union Station. Everything we do is connected, but we each have different roles. That means we need you to love helping people and working close with fellow Pie-oneers. We are a start-up. All hands and minds are needed.

 

Our team is looking for an experienced IT manager. We expect you’ll have spent time in your past as an IT manager for a start-up or small business. Of course, you’ll also need certain skills and abilities to do the work.

 

· 8+ years experience working in an IT environment

· Technology Experience: Networking Infrastructure, Network Security, RingCentral, Zoom,Windows, Mac, Linux

· Strong experience in employee on-boarding, and how to efficiently set-up new employees for success on their first day.

· Strong experience scaling IT infrastructure for a start-up or a small business.

· Ability to support support onsite and remote employees.

· Work with vendors to establish partnerships between Pie and service provider.
