SALT Lending operates a blockchain-based platform that facilitates the issuance of consumer and business asset backed loans which are built on multi-signature smart contracts. The platform is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SALT Lending Holding, Inc. (SaltLending.com).
The IT Specialist is responsible for day to day management of the IT environment, including the coordination and oversight of projects relating to system development, equipment, and infrastructure. The IT specialist is responsible for leading IT projects efficiently and effectively and supporting the company’s users with company communication and IT infrastructure and systems.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware problems
Provide both remote and onsite technical support for staff via Support Tickets, Slack, Email, and Phone
Work with other members of the IT organization to ensure timely resolution of employee issues
Provide basic Windows / Apple OS / application support
Perform application installation, re-installation, configurations, and upgrades
Assist with on-boarding, new hire orientation, and hardware provision
Active Directory Proficiency
Requirements:
3+ years of relevant work experience
Strong drive for problem-solving, for constantly evolving technologies and software development methods
Exceptional people, communication, and time management skills
Experience supporting Apple, Linux and Windows systems
LAN / WLAN configuration and maintenance experience
Able to physically lift upwards of 50 lbs.
Office infrastructure management is desired
Technical certifications preferred (CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, etc.)
Basic understanding of Bitcoin and Ethereum: general concepts, scripting, smart contracts
