IT SOX Manager SOD
Job Description:
The IT SOX Manager - SOD will be responsibility for the creation and monitoring of processes to address segregation of duty conflicts across the company's key financial systems. This is a new position within our SOX team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Perform walkthrough interviews and maintaining communication with a variety of client stakeholders, including business and system’s personnel such as Setup and Configuration and Database Administrators.
- Request, obtain, review, and analyze a variety of artifacts such as security plans, SOP’s, system screenshots, and system configuration settings.
- Manage planning and execution of day-to-day activities of IT control assessments across teams to resolve issues and recommend solutions that maintain our standards of control.
- Provide subject matter expertise to client personnel on all matters related to control requests from client personnel.
- Testing and remediating access, account management, authorizations, provisioning, and segregation of duties is a must for this role.
- Identify SOD risks and be able to understand the different between Finance risks, Operational Risks, and general best practice standards of control.
What You Need
- A minimum of 10 years experience creating and maintaining Oracle ERP setup and configurations, including role based access control and role and responsibility management required for this role. Microsoft AX is an added plus.
- Experience performing rigorous assessments of IT role and responsibility controls using industry standard tools and leading practices.
- Experience evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls using provided artifacts, leading practices, and professional judgement.
- Ability to professionally document and summarize the results of Audit findings and questions to a variety of client stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze and detect false positives in result sets.
- Ability to setup and administer SOD controls using industry standards and tools.
- Experience supporting and facilitating corporate audits around roles, responsibilities, and user access controls.
