IT Security Analyst
The IT Security Analyst will work cross-functionally across departments to perform and improve Ibotta's security posture. This includes the planning, implementation, management, and execution of security processes, documentation, and analytics. The ideal candidate is a curious problem solver, with strong technical skills, great writing prowess, and a focus on teamwork.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Guide IT and Ibotta security processes and systems architecture and implementation
- Consult with stakeholders to assess and guide security and risk management
- Identify gaps and propose solutions to increase security efficiency and effectiveness
- Write security documentation and processes, including vendor compliance forms
- Guide security analytics
- Guide information security governance
- Lead and participate in incident response
- Analyze and review event logs
- Train others on InfoSec procedures
- Act as primary IT contact for audits
- Coordinate with other members of IT, Legal, and Technology to ensure consistency and standardization
- Act as subject matter expert for information and cyber security
Here's what we're looking for:
- 5+ years of progressive information technology experience
- 3+ years of IT security experience
- Bachelor's degree in technology or related field
- Experience with enterprise logging (Splunk, SumoLogic, etc.)
- Experience with Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB)
- Experience with enterprise endpoint protection systems (Sophos, Cylance, or similar)
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPN, subnetting, ACLs, VLANs, etc.)
- Familiarity with network IDS/IPS systems (CheckPoint, SNORT, SourceFire, etc.)
- Familiarity with PCI and SOX compliance
- Knowledge of popular SaaS applications
- Knowledge of Linux, macOS, iOS, and Android
- Knowledge of AWS security principles
- Familiarity with Kanban/Agile project management
- Familiarity with ITIL
- Ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities
- Willingness to work in a fast paced and hands-on environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- CompTIA CySA+ or CSA+ certification
- CISM or CISSP certification
