EverCommerce is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead a team of talented IT professionals through several concurrent IT transformation projects.  This hands-on technical management role is action- and solution-oriented with an emphasis on collaboration across the organization.  This position reports to the CTO.

You love a well-oiled machine and enjoy being the go-to person who wears a bunch of hats.  You are extremely detail-oriented and very organized – nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.  You gain great satisfaction from helping others and removing roadblocks to allow them to succeed at their jobs.  You have lived through several IT transformation projects and have a keen eye for what could go wrong.  You are in your element with remote teams and stakeholders, and over communicate almost to the point of annoyance.

Where:
EverCommerce is located in Denver's LoDo district, but we are open to working with remote candidates [Anywhere in North America] for this role. 

Experience and Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT, including 3+ years with a team of direct reports
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or a combination of certifications and experience that equate to a degree
  • Working knowledge of a public cloud platform, such as AWS or Azure
  • Understanding of patterns and best practices for hosting infrastructure for SaaS software
  • Understanding of Office 365 usage and administration, including Outlook, Sharepoint, Azure Active Directory, and Intune
  • Experience leading complex IT transformation and migration projects for both corporate IT and cloud platforms
  • Working knowledge of Kanban and other methodologies for organizing cross-functional activities
  • Outstanding visual, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to take ownership of problems, drive alignment, and push forward with solutions 
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage complex projects with many moving parts
  • Can use good judgment to solve problems where protocol might not exist

Responsibilities:

  • Manage two small but growing teams:
    • IT Administration and Help Desk: Office 365 migration, provisioning, administration, and end user support
    • Cloud and Data Center Engineering: Migration of SaaS applications to the public cloud; ongoing platform maintenance, support, and break/fix
  • Oversee the process of planning, executing, and delegating responsibilities to future our IT goals
  • Overall owner of multiple projects in flight simultaneously, including day-to-day team assignments and communication to stakeholders
  • Accountable for project results vs plan, communication timeliness, response/resolution time vs SLA, user satisfaction
  • Develop and manage processes and systems for workflow and ticketing
  • Create documentation and runbooks for common administration and support activities 
  • Collaborate across functional teams to ensure successful project execution
