Position Title
IT Operations Analyst
KG Lewis is seeking an experienced IT Operations Analyst skilled in Microsoft Office 365. The analyst will be responsible for managing the O365 environment and other Microsoft and non-Microsoft applications while providing additional IT operational support. The analyst plays a vital role in creating long-term healthy customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Partner with internal client teams to develop trust and solid working relationships
- Support the anti-spam and anti-virus Exchange solutions
- Administer Exchange Distribution Lists
- Support the back-up and, if needed, restoration of email files
- Support Skype/Lync users and provide basic Skype/Lync server support
- Work in a rapid paced environment
- Maintain the smooth operation of a multi-user computer systems, including coordination with other administrators, customers and engineers
- Maintain and implement detailed documentation and maintain standard operating procedures
- Apply security settings and other commercial security best practices
- Other tasks as job requires
Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Attributes:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 3 years' working experience
- Solid understanding of the Windows and Windows Servers in design, configuration and administration
- Good understanding of Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Exchange Online (O365, Skype for Business, OneDrive)
- Solid knowledge of SCCM, SCOM
- Understanding of Windows backup tools (e.g., NetBackup, Windows Backup)
- Understanding of anti-virus/anti-malware tools (e.g., McAfee, Windows Defender)
- PowerShell Scripting experience
- Solid understanding of Active Directory
- GPO administration experience
- System (hardware) and application (software) installation and configuration experience
- System monitoring using installed tools as well as external tools (e.g., SCOM)
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with systems audit and compliance
- Experience with HIPPA and GDPR
- Experience with IT policy development
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong ability to develop solid working relationships and build trust
- Exceptional attention to detail
