IT Engineer

Today, all Pie-oneers are working remotely and will continue to do so until it is safe to return to the office. However, due to the nature of this role, you will be expected to go into the Denver office a few days a week to assist with inventory. All COVID-19 safety measures are followed when in the office. As a remote team member, you will be expected to be available for meetings with team members in other time zones and have access to reliable, high-speed internet.
We are conducting a nationwide search for this hire and will provide relocation assistance to Denver.
We are looking for an IT Engineer to join our team in Denver. This role is responsible for establishing best in class information technology practices that will ensure Pie team members have the tools and technologies they need to set them up for success. This individual will be instrumental in our ability to scale our systems and technologies to meet the needs of our team members.
How You'll Do It
- Managing all AV, end-point protection, telephony, computer hardware, and computer software.
- Ensure internal security best practices for team member computers, Pie data, Pie network access and backup systems.
- Ensuring all new Pie-oneers have their computer and phone set up and ready for use when they arrive on their first day.
- Provide IT assistance via remote support channels to all Pie employees for a multitude of operational tasks e.g. password resets, access requests, application support.
- Keep the IT team scaling efficiently by automating recurring tasks such as onboarding, offboarding and access workflows.
- Provision/Deprovision accounts/computers. Setup and document all required access for new employees.
- Work with functional teams and business leaders to ensure all standard profiles for new hire access are kept up to date.
- We are a 100% cloud/SaaS organization. Administrate and integrate cloud services: Okta, Google Workspace, Office 365, Zoom, Slack.
- Create and update technology documentation for internal IT teams and for Pie team members.
- Provide IT support for remote team members, including configuring, shipping, and receiving employee devices.
The Right Stuff
- Minimum of 3 years of IT Support and Systems Administration experience.
- HS Diploma, or equivalent, required. Relevant certifications, like Google Cloud, will be highly desired.
- Project management skills are a big plus.
- Knowledge of setting up and administering cloud based infrastructure systems is required. Working with Okta, Google Workspace, Office 365, Zoom, Slack, cloud anti-virus, such as Sophos is highly preferred.
- Knowledge with system administration of a cloud phone system required.
- Knowledge of working with remote monitoring systems (RMM) required. Connectwise Automate highly preferred.
- Knowledge of project tracking software systems like JIRA, etc. are a plus.
- Working with device management software programs, specifically Addigy is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in employee on-boarding, and how to efficiently set-up new employees for success on their first day is required.
- Ability to support onsite and remote employees is required.
- Strong understanding of using automation to scale IT infrastructure for a start-up or a small business is a plus.
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to quickly resolve issues as they arise.

Compensation Range for position: $80,000 - $100,000
