IT Engineer II

| Greater Denver Area

ROLE IMPACT

  • Provides expertise, installation, support and direction on client network issues including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, security, virus prevention, email, and general network performance
  • Supports local infrastructure including local servers as needed (Core Enterprise Systems Only)
  • Supports Executive level desktop/laptop issues
  • Works closely with clients to ensure smooth, uninterrupted operation of network client workstations and all related peripherals
  • Primarily responsible for installation, configuration, repair and replacement of workstation, other hardware components and software applications
  • Configuration of Mac Laptops, including JAMF Administration
  • Responsible for Enterprise Core Services (Active Directory, WDS Imaging, Software Deployment, GPO Management, O365 Management)
  • Performs formal system design bases on IS management methodologies
  • Applies Quality Control and Quality Assurance principles
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to individuals varying various technical ability
  • Writes and maintains complete and concise technical project documentation
  • Presents training presentations on multiple technical levels

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years' experience with Windows OS (Windows 7, Windows 10)
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience maintaining and troubleshooting MAC operating systems
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience troubleshooting network cabling technologies
  • Minimum 4 years' experience with Enterprise Core Services (AD, WDS, Software Deployment, GPO, Scripting)
  • Experience with managing Office 365 Admin portal
  • Skills with automation scripting for Windows Deployments and Scripting
  • Knowledgeable in network protocols for troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with PC and server hardware, including desktops, notebooks, servers, SANS, tape libraries, and server racks
  • Understanding of general business issues including external factors that impact the business and industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow sound business ethics when executing job responsibilities to build and maintain management confidence.
  • Strong technical skills
  • JAMF Admin Experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
