Blue Canyon Technologies is seeking a talented and enthusiastic IT Architect with  5 +  years’ experience to join our growing team.  Well qualified applicants will be motivated and invested in company success. They will be organized to manage and complete multiple concurrent tasks and enjoy troubleshooting.

Job Responsibilities:

The IT Architect is a technical leader on a small agile IT team supporting a growing company. The Architect takes ownership of the IT environment based on a deep technical and hands on experience across IT infrastructure domains. The candidate for this role must provide outstanding customer service, possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, exhibit excellent business communication skills and demonstrate a desire to tackle complex problems.  The IT Architect assures success and provides continuity by owning initiatives from concept through execution and maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience
• 5 years of relevant experience 
• Conceptual and experiential background in datacenter systems
• Experience with configuration and data management processes and workflows
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, strategic and skill.
• Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook.
• An effective sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; experience in mentoring others a plus.

Working conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filling cabinets and fax machines.
