About the team

You will be joining a team supporting ACBS ASP.  We run software as a service supporting several large financial institutions in supporting their commercial lending book.  We serve as the system of record for over $1.3 trillion worth in client book and we take our responsibility as stewards of this value seriously.  Our application consists of Windows, IBMi, Business Objects, Oracle, APIs, web servers, etc and our team spans the globe in USA, EU and India.  We are embarking on a modernization effort that is looking to modernize our delivery in both process and technology as we focus on Windows and Oracle deployments.

What you will be doing

FIS ACBS is searching for a talented IT Architect. We run services for some of the premier banking clients and are looking for an architect to help streamline operations. We run Windows, IBM I, Citrix Oracle, Business Objects, Web services, APIs and more. We need somebody with a wide understanding of system interactions and experience in architecture and refactoring complex systems in production environments.

What you bring:

• Advanced Web server and services administration and troubleshooting

• Windows Server 2008-2016 advanced admin (required)

• Subscribes to the Lazy Admin theory; develops automation scripts and reworks processes to remove toil

• Will be guiding our cloud journey; experience in Azure or other cloud tech preferred

• Strong knowledge of AD/GPO/WinRM, etc.

• Detailed server/client network understanding (Load balancing, port testing, etc)

• Citrix administration experience preferred

• Oracle or other database administration, understanding of SQL and basics of database tuning (preferred)

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• 10 years of experience in server administration

• Project management experience
