The inventory clerk is responsible for maintaining a tight and tidy warehouse and accurate inventory, and reports directly to the production supervisor. 

Responsibilities

  • Validation of inventory accuracy through cycle counting process
  • Manage spreadsheets for records-keeping of cycle counts
  • Recount and investigate as discrepancies between physical inventory and ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics NAV) occur
  • Receive purchase and transfer orders, as well as aid in processing sales return orders
  • Complete sales person sample orders for internal teams and document changes in inventory 
  • Verify quantities and items received against ERP system
  • Use inventory cones to denote stage in process
  • Post receipt in ERP system and rack materials in respective inventory locations
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of warehouse in accordance with 5S standards
  • Monitor WIP areas in production bay and restock on as-needed basis
  • Keep accurate inventory map
  • Shift material placement as it becomes necessary to accommodate new or incoming inventory
  • Update inventory map to reflect any placement changes
  • In removing and placing inventory, abide by FIFO (First In, First Out) method
  • Post adjustments to inventory quantities in the BOULDER and BLDR SMPL location codes in ERP system
  • Notify Production supervisor of any inventory concerns, such as: Low inventory, Damaged product, Quality concerns, Space constraints
  • Report weekly on inventory updates, concerns, counts, etc.
  • Complete fulfillment orders on a regular basis

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Sheets

Pay range: $35,000 to $40,000
