As an Infrastructure Systems Engineer on the Healthgrades’ team you will enable critical infrastructure for strategic product platforms and critical business operations. Your role requires a high level of expertise in server administration, network services, automation, security, infrastructure design and optimization, and technical operations with a desire to drive continuous improvements.

You will join a highly collaborative, cohesive, high performing Systems Engineering team with cross functional expertise, focused on enabling product platforms and business operations when delivering high quality systems.

 

What you will do:

  • Engineering:  Design build, benchmark, and deploy highly performant on-premise and cloud infrastructure including hardware, software, configuration automation, and operational tools.
  • Optimization:  Identify repeat issues and engineer solutions to prevent them from reoccurring.
  • Lifecycle Management: Define and implement lifecycle management to sustain highly available and reliable infrastructure.
  • Operations: Provide rapid response while continuously improving infrastructure to prevent repeat business impacting issues.

 

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years’ experience engineering Windows & Linux operating systems.
  • 4+ years’ experience engineering Windows Services such as DNS, DHCP, Domain Controllers.
  • 4+ experience building and optimizing VMWare images and/or VM clusters
  • Experience with domain management.
  • Experience with key & secret management, and network authentication services.
  • Exposure to Cisco Local Area Network administration.
  • Exposure to Cisco Voice over IP infrastructure.
  • Exposure to Cisco WiFi infrastructure.
  • Experience with configuration automation including Ansible and/or other similar tools.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging for Server OS, CPU, Memory, Disk, and Network.
  • Experience with performance optimization and delivering highly reliable infrastructure.
  • Experience implementing and optimizing system monitoring, logging, alerting, and notifications.
  • Primary experience with on-premise infrastructure.
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure services, migration, and/or integration.
  • Enjoy working as part of team.
  • Solutions that enable highly performance and efficient system infrastructure.
  • Ability to implement company IT security policies.
  • Site Reliability Engineering approach.
